I’m Alperen — I work on product analytics infrastructure and build small apps on the side. Based in Istanbul.
What I do
I lead product analytics for one of Türkiye’s largest online grocery apps. I own the analytics stack end to end — event taxonomy and governance, identity resolution and ID merge architecture, attribution, and the pipelines that feed reporting.
Most of the work is about making data trustworthy before it is useful: deciding what gets measured, keeping the definitions honest as the product changes, and making sure the numbers people act on actually mean what they think they mean.
Outside work
I build iOS apps in Swift. World Cocktails is the first one I shipped — an illustrated guide to 140 classic drinks, written and drawn end to end. I write here occasionally about what I learn along the way.
